¿Qué reciclamos?

PET
El PET es uno de los plásticos más utilizados y reciclables, presente principalmente en botellas de bebidas, agua, jugos y envases de aceite. En un núcleo familiar promedio se pueden generar entre 10 y 20 botellas PET al mes, dependiendo del consumo. Este material es altamente valorizable, ya que puede reciclarse varias veces y transformarse nuevamente en envases, fibras textiles o productos industriales, reduciendo significativamente el uso de plástico virgen.
CARTON
El cartón es un material reciclable proveniente principalmente de cajas de compras online, alimentos, electrodomésticos y embalajes en general. En un hogar promedio se generan entre 3 y 6 cajas de cartón al mes, especialmente en edificios y condominios. Reciclar cartón reduce la tala de árboles, disminuye el consumo de agua y energía, y es uno de los materiales con mayor impacto positivo cuando se gestiona correctamente.
LATAS
principalmente de aluminio y hojalata, provienen de bebidas, conservas y alimentos envasados. Un núcleo familiar puede generar entre 15 y 30 latas al mes. Este material es altamente valorizable, ya que puede reciclarse de forma indefinida sin perder sus propiedades, permitiendo ahorrar hasta un 95% de la energía necesaria para producir aluminio nuevo.
PP
El PP es un plástico duro y liviano, muy frecuente en la vida cotidiana, presente en tapas plásticas, envases de yogurt, margarina, potes de comida y contenedores reutilizables. Un núcleo familiar puede desechar entre 6 y 12 envases mensuales de este material. Su reciclaje permite fabricar cajas, baldes, muebles plásticos y otros productos durables, aportando directamente a la economía circular.
